Marine Insight 360 is recruiting a 2nd Engineer on Bulk carrier for Bulk Carrier linked to Bulk carrier.

The 2nd Engineer is a key member of the engine department on our Bulk carrier vessel, responsible for maintaining and operating the ship's engines and associated equipment.
This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work independently.
The 2nd Engineer will also assist the Chief Engineer in managing the engine department.
The day-to-day duties of the 2nd Engineer include performing routine maintenance and repairs on the ship's engines, pumps, and other equipment, as well as monitoring and optimizing fuel consumption and performance.
The 2nd Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs, and for ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Additionally, the 2nd Engineer will supervise and train junior engineering staff as needed.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid STCW/CoC certificate as a 2nd Engineer.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a 2nd Engineer on a bulk carrier or similar vessel.
- Must have a strong knowledge of engine maintenance and repair, including diesel engines and associated equipment.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
