Candidate documents and job applications

When you create a profile or apply for a role, you may provide a CV, certificates, sea-service details, identity or travel document details, and other employment information. We use this information to operate the careers portal, process applications, communicate with you, and help employers or recruiters evaluate candidates for roles you choose to apply for. We do not sell candidate documents.

Candidate information is shared only as necessary for applications, platform operation, legal compliance, safety, fraud prevention or with your consent. Employers and recruiters are responsible for how they use candidate data after receiving it for a role.

You may request access, correction or deletion by contacting support@marineinsight360.com. Some records may be retained when needed for legal, safety or fraud prevention reasons.

Your rights

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, so candidates should avoid sending unnecessary sensitive documents at the first stage of a job application.
