Daily duties involve conducting daily checks of the main engine, generators, and auxiliary systems, recording parameters, and reporting any deviations. You will assist in planned overhauls, spare parts management, and troubleshooting breakdowns at sea. Coordination with the deck department for bunkering and ballast operations is also required.

Requirements
- OK- Valid STCW 95/96 with Engine Officer endorsement and appropriate CoC
- OK- Minimum 2 years experience as 2nd Engineer on a bulk carrier or similar vessel
- OK- Ability to operate and maintain main engine, auxiliary machinery and fuel systems
- OK- Knowledge of MARPOL, ISM and shipboard safety procedures
- OK- Proficient with engine monitoring software and record‑keeping
