Role overview
We are seeking a skilled 2nd Engineer to join our team on a Container Ship. The 2nd Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the ship's engine and related equipment. This is a key role that requires a high level of technical expertise and experience.
The 2nd Engineer will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on the ship's engines, pumps, and other equipment. They will also be required to monitor and analyze the performance of the ship's systems and make adjustments as needed. Additionally, the 2nd Engineer will be responsible for supervising junior engineers and providing guidance and training.

What we look for
- Must hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate as a 2nd Engineer.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a 2nd Engineer on a container ship.
- Must have a strong knowledge of engine maintenance and repair.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
