The 2nd Engineer is a key member of the engine department on a Crude oil tanker, responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vessel's machinery. This role requires a strong understanding of marine engineering principles and practices. The 2nd Engineer will work closely with the Chief Engineer to ensure the vessel's machinery is well maintained.
The 2nd Engineer's day-to-day duties will include monitoring and maintaining the vessel's engines, pumps, and other equipment, as well as performing routine repairs and troubleshooting. They will also be responsible for managing the vessel's fuel and lubricant supplies, and ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and environmental regulations. Additionally, the 2nd Engineer will supervise junior engineering staff and provide guidance and training as needed.

Requirements
- OKMust hold a valid STCW/CoC certificate as a 2nd Engineer
- OKMust have at least 2 years of experience as a 2nd Engineer on a tanker vessel
- OKMust have a strong understanding of marine engineering principles and practices
- OKMust be able to work independently and as part of a team
- OKMust hold a valid medical certificate
