The source listing notes: 2nd Engineer on Crude oil tanker The 2nd Engineer is a key member of the engine department on a Crude oil tanker, responsible for maintaining and operating the vessel's engines and associated equipment.
This role requires a high level of technical expertise and experience working with large diesel engines.
The 2nd Engineer will work closely with the Chief Engineer to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
The 2nd Engineer's day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance and repairs on the main engine, auxiliary engines, and other equipment.
They will also be responsible for monitoring and controlling the vessel's fuel consumption and performing troubleshooting and fault-finding tasks as needed.
Additionally, the 2nd Engineer will be required to keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Chief Engineer's Certificate of Competency (CoC) or a Second Engineer's CoC with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
- Must be physically fit and able to pass a medical examination.
