Role overview
The 2nd Engineer will play a key role in maintaining the diving support vessel's engine department. This includes ensuring all equipment is functioning properly and safely. The 2nd Engineer will work closely with the Chief Engineer to achieve this goal.
The 2nd Engineer's day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance tasks, monitoring engine performance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. The 2nd Engineer will also be responsible for managing fuel consumption and overseeing junior engineers. Additionally, the 2nd Engineer will participate in safety drills and training exercises.

What we look for
- Must hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate for a 2nd Engineer position.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a 2nd Engineer on a similar vessel type.
- Must have a strong understanding of engine maintenance and repair procedures.
- Must be able to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with crew members.
- Must hold a valid medical certificate and be physically fit for duty at sea.
