Role overview
The 2nd Engineer is a key member of the engine department on a Crewell LPG vessel, responsible for maintaining and operating the ship's engines and associated equipment. This role requires a high level of technical expertise and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The 2nd Engineer will also assist the Chief Engineer in the overall management of the engine department.
The 2nd Engineer's day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance and repairs on the ship's engines and equipment, monitoring and analyzing performance data, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. The 2nd Engineer will also be responsible for managing fuel and lubricant supplies, as well as overseeing the work of junior engineers and oilers. Additionally, the 2nd Engineer will participate in safety drills and training exercises to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate for a 2nd Engineer on an LPG vessel
- At least 2 years of experience as a 2nd Engineer on a similar type of vessel
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a medical examination and obtain any necessary visas
- Valid tanker endorsement for LPG vessels
