Role overview
We are seeking a skilled 2nd Engineer to join our team on an Oil/chemical tanker. The 2nd Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the vessel's engine department. This is a key role that requires a high level of technical expertise and experience.
The 2nd Engineer will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on the vessel's engines and associated equipment. They will also be required to monitor and control the vessel's fuel consumption and perform troubleshooting as needed. Additionally, the 2nd Engineer will be responsible for supervising junior engineers and providing guidance and training as required.

What we look for
- Must hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate as a 2nd Engineer.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a 2nd Engineer on a similar type of vessel.
- Must have a strong knowledge of engine maintenance and repair procedures.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must hold a valid medical certificate.
