Role overview
We are seeking a skilled 2nd Engineer to join our team on a Product tanker. The 2nd Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the vessel's engine department. This is a key role that requires strong technical knowledge and experience.
The 2nd Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of engine room machinery, performing repairs and troubleshooting issues as needed. They will also be responsible for managing the vessel's fuel and lubricant supplies, as well as supervising junior engineers. Additionally, the 2nd Engineer will be required to maintain accurate records of engine performance and maintenance activities.

What we look for
- Must hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate as a 2nd Engineer.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a 2nd Engineer on a merchant vessel.
- Must have experience with engine room machinery and maintenance.
- Must have strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
- Must be able to pass a medical examination and obtain any necessary visas.
