Role overview
The 2nd Officer is a key member of the bridge team on our AHTS DP2 vessel, responsible for ensuring safe and efficient navigation. The role involves working closely with the Master and other officers to achieve this goal. Our AHTS DP2 vessels operate globally, providing support to offshore oil and gas operations.
The 2nd Officer's day-to-day duties include navigating the vessel, maintaining navigational equipment, and performing watchkeeping duties. They will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining the vessel's safety and security equipment, as well as participating in drills and training exercises. Additionally, the 2nd Officer will assist with cargo operations and other tasks as required.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate for Officer of the Watch
- At least 2 years of experience as a 2nd Officer on a similar type of vessel
- DP certification and experience with dynamic positioning systems
- Good knowledge of navigation, safety, and security procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
