Role overview
The 2nd Officer is a key member of the deck team on a Crude oil tanker, responsible for navigation and cargo operations. This role requires a high level of professionalism and adherence to safety protocols. The 2nd Officer will work closely with the Master and other officers to ensure safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
The 2nd Officer's day-to-day duties will include navigating the vessel, monitoring cargo operations, and maintaining deck equipment. They will also be responsible for keeping accurate records and reports, and participating in drills and training exercises. Additionally, the 2nd Officer will supervise junior crew members and provide guidance and support as needed.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate
- At least 2 years of experience as a 2nd Officer on a tanker vessel
- Good knowledge of navigation and cargo operations
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Valid medical certificate
