Role overview
The 2nd Officer is a key member of the bridge team on a LPG vessel, responsible for navigation and cargo operations. This role requires a strong understanding of LPG cargo handling and safety procedures. The 2nd Officer will also assist with deck maintenance and repairs.
The 2nd Officer's day-to-day duties include navigating the vessel, monitoring cargo tanks, and performing safety drills. They will also be responsible for updating navigation charts and publications, and maintaining the vessel's safety equipment. Additionally, the 2nd Officer will stand watch and respond to emergencies as needed.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate for an Officer of the Watch
- At least 12 months of experience as a 2nd Officer on a gas tanker
- Valid medical certificate
- GMDSS General Operator's Certificate
- High school diploma or equivalent
