As a key member of the engine department, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the vessel's engines and associated equipment.
The 3rd Engineer plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
Your day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance and repairs on engine equipment, monitoring fuel consumption and optimizing engine performance.
You will also be responsible for supervising junior engineers and participating in safety drills and training exercises.
Additionally, you will work closely with the Chief Engineer to plan and implement maintenance schedules and repairs.
