Role overview
We are seeking a skilled 3rd Engineer to join our team on a Bulk carrier. The 3rd Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the vessel's engine department. This is a key role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
The 3rd Engineer will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting engine problems, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. They will also be required to keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs, and to work closely with other members of the engine department. The 3rd Engineer will be expected to be on call to respond to emergencies and to work flexible hours as needed.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as a 3rd Engineer.
- At least 2 years of experience as a 3rd Engineer on a bulk carrier or similar vessel.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to pass a medical examination and obtain any necessary visas.
- Valid passport with at least 6 months' validity.
