Role overview
We are seeking a skilled 3rd Engineer to join our team on a Bulk carrier. As a key member of the engine department, you will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the vessel's engines and associated equipment. The 3rd Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
The 3rd Engineer will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, monitoring engine performance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. You will also be required to keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs, and to work closely with other members of the engine department to ensure seamless operations. Additionally, you will be expected to participate in safety drills and training exercises to maintain the highest standards of safety on board.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate of competency
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a 3rd Engineer on a merchant vessel
- Must hold a valid STCW certificate
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be physically fit and able to pass a medical examination
