The 3rd Engineer will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting and repairing engine and mechanical system faults, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The 3rd Engineer will also be required to keep accurate records of maintenance and repair work, and to participate in drills and training exercises. Additionally, the 3rd Engineer will be expected to work closely with other members of the engine department to ensure the smooth operation of the ship.

Requirements
- OKMust hold a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate of competency.
- OKMust have at least 2 years of experience as a 3rd Engineer on a merchant ship.
- OKMust have a strong knowledge of engine and mechanical systems, including diesel engines and auxiliary equipment.
- OKMust be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- OKMust hold a valid medical certificate and be fit for duty at sea.
