Role overview
We are seeking a skilled 3rd Engineer to join our team on a Crude oil tanker. The 3rd Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the vessel's engine department. This is a key role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
The 3rd Engineer will be responsible for performing daily rounds of the engine room, monitoring equipment performance, and carrying out routine maintenance tasks. They will also be required to troubleshoot and repair faults, and assist with cargo operations as needed. Additionally, the 3rd Engineer will be expected to maintain accurate records and logs of engine performance and maintenance activities.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate of competency
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a 3rd Engineer on a tanker vessel
- Must have a good understanding of engine room operations and maintenance procedures
- Must be proficient in English language
- Must hold a valid medical certificate
