Role overview
We are seeking a skilled 3rd Engineer to join our team on a General Cargo Vessel. The 3rd Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the vessel's engine department. This is a key role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
The 3rd Engineer will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting engine problems, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. They will also be required to keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs, and to work closely with other members of the engine department. Additionally, the 3rd Engineer will be expected to participate in drills and training exercises to maintain their skills and knowledge.

What we look for
- Must hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate as a 3rd Engineer.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role on a merchant vessel.
- Must have a strong understanding of engine maintenance and repair procedures.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be proficient in English, both written and spoken.
