Role overview
We are seeking a 3rd Engineer to join our team on a General Cargo Vessel. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the vessel's engine department. This is a key role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
As a 3rd Engineer, your day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance tasks, monitoring engine performance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports, and for ensuring that all work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner. Additionally, you will be expected to work closely with other members of the engine department to achieve common goals.

What we look for
- Must hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate as a 3rd Engineer.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role on a merchant vessel.
- Must have a strong understanding of engine maintenance and repair procedures.
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be physically fit and able to pass a medical examination.
