Role overview
We are seeking a skilled 3rd Engineer to join our team on a General Cargo Vessel. The 3rd Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the vessel's engine department. This is a key role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
The 3rd Engineer will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, monitoring engine performance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. They will also be required to keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs, and to ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with safety protocols. The 3rd Engineer will work closely with the Chief Engineer and other crew members to ensure the smooth operation of the vessel.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate of competency
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a 3rd Engineer on a merchant vessel
- Must have a strong understanding of engine maintenance and repair
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must hold a valid STCW certificate
