Role overview
The 3rd Engineer is a key member of the engine department on our LPG - Ethylene Gas Carrier. This role involves maintaining and operating the vessel's engines and associated equipment. The 3rd Engineer will work closely with other engineers to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
The 3rd Engineer's day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance and repairs on engines and equipment, monitoring fuel consumption and optimizing engine performance. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs, and participating in safety drills and training exercises. Additionally, the 3rd Engineer will assist with cargo operations and other tasks as required.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as a 3rd Engineer
- At least 2 years of experience as a 3rd Engineer on a similar type of vessel
- Good knowledge of engine maintenance and repair procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
