Role overview
We are seeking a skilled 3rd Engineer to join our team on an oil/chemical tanker. The 3rd Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the vessel's engine department. This is a key role that requires a high level of technical expertise and attention to detail.
The 3rd Engineer will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting engine problems, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. They will also be required to work closely with other crew members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. Additionally, the 3rd Engineer will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of engine performance and maintenance activities.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate of competency.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a 3rd Engineer on a merchant vessel.
- Must have experience with oil/chemical tanker operations.
- Must hold a valid STCW certificate, including survival craft and rescue boat training.
- Must be able to pass a medical examination and obtain any necessary visas.
