Role overview
We are seeking a 3rd Officer to join our team on a Bulk carrier. The 3rd Officer is a key member of the deck team and plays a vital role in the safe navigation and operation of the vessel. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of the ship.
The 3rd Officer will be responsible for standing watch, navigating the vessel, and performing various deck duties as required. They will also be responsible for maintaining the vessel's safety equipment and performing routine maintenance tasks. Additionally, the 3rd Officer will be required to keep accurate records and logs as required by regulatory bodies and company policies.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate of competency.
- Must have completed all required STCW training courses.
- Must have at least 12 months of experience as a 3rd Officer on a bulk carrier or similar vessel type.
- Must have a good understanding of navigation, cargo operations, and safety procedures.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
