Role overview
The 3rd Officer is a key member of the deck team on a Crude oil tanker, responsible for navigation and cargo operations. This role requires a strong understanding of tanker operations and safety protocols. The 3rd Officer will work closely with the Master and other deck officers to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.
The 3rd Officer's day-to-day duties will include navigating the vessel, monitoring cargo operations, and maintaining deck equipment. The 3rd Officer will also be responsible for performing safety drills and training crew members. Additionally, the 3rd Officer will assist with cargo planning and loading/unloading operations.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate of competency
- Must have at least 12 months of experience as a deck officer on a tanker vessel
- Must have a valid tanker endorsement on their certificate of competency
- Must have completed all required STCW training courses
- Must hold a valid medical certificate
