Role overview
The 3rd Officer is a key member of the deck team on our oil/chemical tankers, responsible for ensuring the safe navigation and operation of the vessel. This role involves working closely with the Master and other officers to maintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency. The 3rd Officer will also be involved in cargo operations and deck maintenance.
The day-to-day duties of the 3rd Officer include navigating the vessel, maintaining deck equipment, and performing safety drills. The 3rd Officer will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting any issues with the vessel's systems and equipment. Additionally, the 3rd Officer will participate in cargo operations, including loading and discharging cargo.

What we look for
- Holder of a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate of competency
- At least 12 months of experience as a 3rd Officer on a tanker vessel
- Good knowledge of tanker operations and safety procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Valid medical certificate and proof of completion of all required STCW training
