Role overview
We are seeking a 3rd Officer to join our team on an Oil/chemical tanker. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. This is a contract position with Crewell, offering a unique opportunity to work with a reputable company.
As a 3rd Officer, your day-to-day duties will include navigating the vessel, monitoring cargo operations, and maintaining deck equipment. You will also be responsible for supervising junior crew members and contributing to the development of the ship's safety management system. Additionally, you will participate in drills and training exercises to ensure compliance with safety regulations.

What we look for
- Hold a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate of competency
- Have at least 12 months of experience as a 3rd Officer on a tanker vessel
- Possess a valid tanker endorsement
- Have a good understanding of ISM and ISPS codes
- Hold a valid medical certificate
