Role overview
The 3rd Officer is a key member of the deck team on our oil tanker vessels. This role involves navigating the vessel safely and efficiently. The 3rd Officer will also be responsible for cargo operations and deck maintenance.
The 3rd Officer's day-to-day duties include navigating the vessel using a range of electronic and traditional navigation aids, monitoring and maintaining safety equipment, and supervising deck crew members. The 3rd Officer will also be responsible for keeping accurate records of navigation, cargo operations, and safety drills. Additionally, the 3rd Officer will participate in cargo operations, including loading and discharging cargo.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate
- 2 years of experience as a deck officer on a merchant vessel
- Valid medical certificate
- GMDSS certification
- Tanker endorsement
