The 3rd Officer is a key member of the deck team on a Passenger ship, responsible for ensuring the safe navigation of the vessel.
This role involves working closely with the Master and other officers to maintain the highest standards of safety and efficiency.
The 3rd Officer will also be involved in cargo operations and deck maintenance.
The day-to-day duties of the 3rd Officer include navigating the vessel, keeping watch, and performing safety drills.
The 3rd Officer will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining deck equipment, as well as supervising junior crew members.
In addition, the 3rd Officer will be required to keep accurate records and logs, including navigation and safety records.

What we look for
- Hold a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate of competency
- Have at least 12 months of experience as a junior officer on a Passenger ship
- Hold a valid STCW Basic Safety Training certificate
- Have a good understanding of ISM and ISPS codes
- Be able to communicate effectively in English
