Role overview
We are seeking a 4th Engineer to join our team on a Bulk carrier. The 4th Engineer will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and operation of the vessel's engine department. This is a key role that requires a strong understanding of marine engineering principles and practices.
The 4th Engineer will be responsible for performing daily rounds of the engine room, monitoring equipment performance, and reporting any issues to the Chief Engineer. They will also be involved in routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and other duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer. Additionally, the 4th Engineer will participate in emergency drills and training exercises to ensure preparedness in case of an emergency.

What we look for
- Must hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate as a 4th Engineer.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience working on a bulk carrier or similar vessel.
- Must have a strong understanding of marine engineering principles and practices.
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be physically fit and able to pass a medical examination.
