Role overview
We are seeking a skilled 4th Engineer to join our team on a Bulk carrier. As a 4th Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the vessel's engine and mechanical systems. You will work closely with the other engineers to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the ship.
Your day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance and repairs on engine and mechanical systems, monitoring and analyzing performance data, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports, and participating in safety drills and training exercises. Additionally, you will work with the chief engineer to develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans.

What we look for
- Must hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate as a 4th Engineer.
- At least 2 years of experience as a 4th Engineer on a bulk carrier or similar vessel.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
