Role overview
We are seeking a 4th Engineer to join our team on a Bulk carrier. The 4th Engineer will be responsible for assisting with the maintenance and operation of the vessel's engine department. This is a key role that requires a strong understanding of marine engineering principles.
The 4th Engineer will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, monitoring engine performance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. They will also be required to keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs, and to participate in safety drills and training exercises. Additionally, the 4th Engineer will be expected to work closely with other members of the engine department to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate of competency.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a 4th Engineer on a merchant vessel.
- Must have a strong understanding of marine engineering principles and practices.
- Must be able to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively with other crew members.
- Must hold a valid medical certificate and be able to pass a drug test.
