Role overview
We are seeking a skilled 4th Engineer to join our team on a Bulk carrier. As a key member of the engine department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the vessel's machinery and ensuring its safe operation. The 4th Engineer is responsible for assisting with daily maintenance and repair tasks.
Your day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance on engines and associated equipment, monitoring fuel consumption, and reporting any issues to senior engineers. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and repairing faults, as well as participating in drills and training exercises. Additionally, you will be required to keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs.

What we look for
- Must hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a 4th Engineer on a merchant vessel.
- Must have a strong understanding of engine room operations and maintenance.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be proficient in English.
