Role overview
We are seeking a skilled 4th Engineer to join our team on a Container Ship. The 4th Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and operating engine room equipment. This role is crucial to the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
The 4th Engineer will perform daily rounds to check equipment, identify potential issues, and report to the Chief Engineer. They will also be responsible for maintaining records of maintenance and repairs, and participating in safety drills and training exercises. Additionally, the 4th Engineer will assist with cargo operations and other tasks as directed by the Chief Engineer.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Officer of the Watch (OOW) certificate of competency.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a 4th Engineer on a merchant vessel.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have a valid STCW certificate, including survival craft and rescue boats.
- Must be physically fit and able to pass a medical examination.
