Role overview
We are seeking a skilled 4th Engineer to join our team on a Container Ship. The 4th Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and repairing engine room equipment. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the vessel.
The 4th Engineer will be responsible for performing daily rounds of the engine room, monitoring equipment performance, and carrying out routine maintenance tasks. They will also be required to troubleshoot and repair faults as they arise, and assist with cargo operations as needed. The 4th Engineer will work closely with other members of the engine department to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.

What we look for
- Must hold a relevant STCW/CoC certificate.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a 4th Engineer on a merchant vessel.
- Must have a strong knowledge of engine room systems and equipment.
- Must be able to work well in a team and communicate effectively with other crew members.
- Must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
