Role overview
The 4th Engineer is a key member of the engine department on a Crewell LPG vessel, responsible for maintaining and operating equipment to ensure safe and efficient cargo transportation. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. The 4th Engineer will work under the supervision of the Chief Engineer.
The 4th Engineer's day-to-day duties include performing routine maintenance and repairs on engines, pumps, and other equipment, as well as monitoring and analyzing performance data to optimize vessel operations. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports, and participating in safety drills and training exercises. Additionally, the 4th Engineer will assist with cargo operations and other tasks as needed.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate for 4th Engineer on LPG vessels
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role on a merchant vessel
- High school diploma or equivalent in a relevant field
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
