The 4th Engineer is a key member of the engine department on an oil/chemical tanker, responsible for maintaining and operating the vessel's engines and related equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of marine engineering principles and practices. The 4th Engineer will work under the supervision of the Chief Engineer to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
The 4th Engineer's day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance and repairs on engines, pumps, and other equipment, as well as monitoring and analyzing performance data to optimize efficiency. The 4th Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repairs, and for participating in safety drills and training exercises. Additionally, the 4th Engineer will work closely with other members of the engine department to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

Requirements

- OKValid medical certificate
