Role overview

We are seeking a 4th Engineer to join our team on an oil/chemical tanker. The 4th Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of the vessel's engine department. This is a key role that requires a strong understanding of marine engineering principles.

The 4th Engineer will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, monitoring engine performance, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. They will also be required to keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs, and to work closely with other members of the engine department. Additionally, the 4th Engineer will be expected to participate in safety drills and training exercises.
