Role overview
We are seeking a skilled 4th Engineer to join our team on a Reefer vessel. As a 4th Engineer on a Reefer, you will be responsible for maintaining the vessel's engine and related systems. This role requires a strong understanding of refrigeration systems and their interaction with the vessel's engines.
Your day-to-day duties will include performing routine maintenance and repairs on engine and auxiliary equipment, monitoring fuel consumption and optimizing engine performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that arise during voyages. Additionally, you will work closely with other engineers to achieve efficient and safe operation of the vessel.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate
- 2 years of experience as a 4th Engineer on a merchant vessel
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems and their maintenance
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent
