Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Able Seaman to join our General Cargo Vessel team. As an Able Seaman, you will be part of the deck crew and play a key role in the safe operation of the vessel. You will work under the supervision of senior deck officers to ensure all deck operations are carried out efficiently.
Your day-to-day duties will include maintaining the vessel's deck and superstructure, handling cargo, and participating in safety drills and training exercises. You will also be responsible for standing watch, monitoring vessel systems, and reporting any issues to senior officers. Additionally, you will assist with mooring and unmooring operations, as well as other tasks as directed by senior deck crew members.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid STCW Able Seaman certificate
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as an Able Seaman on a cargo vessel
- Must have a valid medical certificate
- Must have a good understanding of safety procedures and protocols
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
