Role overview
The Able Seaman plays a crucial role on our General Cargo Vessel, supporting the deck team with cargo operations and maintenance tasks. The vessel operates globally, requiring flexibility and adaptability from all crew members. As an Able Seaman, you will be part of a dynamic team ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
Day-to-day duties include performing deck maintenance, such as painting and cleaning, and assisting with cargo loading and unloading operations. You will also be responsible for standing watch, monitoring vessel systems, and reporting any issues to the officer on duty. Additionally, you will participate in drills and training exercises to maintain emergency response readiness.

What we look for
- Valid STCW certificate
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Able Seaman on a commercial vessel
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills in English
