Role overview
We are seeking an experienced AB/Cook to join our team on a General Cargo Vessel. As an AB/Cook, you will be responsible for performing deck duties and preparing meals for the crew. You will work closely with the deck crew and the vessel's management team to ensure the smooth operation of the vessel.
Your day-to-day duties will include maintaining the deck and superstructure, handling cargo, and performing other tasks as directed by the officer on watch. You will also be responsible for planning and preparing meals, managing food stores, and maintaining the galley and mess areas. Additionally, you will be required to participate in drills and training exercises to maintain your skills and knowledge.

What we look for
- Valid STCW Certificate of Competency
- Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
- Good physical health and stamina
- 2 years of experience as an AB/Cook on a commercial vessel
