Role overview
The AB/Cook is a key member of the crew on our Tug vessel, responsible for assisting with deck operations and preparing meals for the crew. The role requires a unique combination of maritime and culinary skills. The AB/Cook will work closely with the rest of the crew to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
The AB/Cook's day-to-day duties will include assisting with mooring and towing operations, maintaining the deck and superstructure, and preparing nutritious meals for the crew. The AB/Cook will also be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the galley and mess areas. In addition, the AB/Cook will participate in drills and training exercises to ensure they are prepared for emergency situations.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW certificate, including Basic Safety Training and Proficiency in Survival Craft
- Valid medical certificate
- Previous experience as an AB/Cook on a merchant vessel
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
