Role overview
The Bosun is a key member of the deck crew on our bulk carrier vessels, responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the ship's deck and superstructure. This role involves working closely with other crew members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel. The Bosun will also be involved in cargo operations and other deck activities.
The day-to-day duties of the Bosun at sea include supervising the maintenance and repair of deck equipment, managing the storage and use of cargo gear, and participating in cargo loading and discharging operations. The Bosun will also be responsible for performing routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure the deck and superstructure are in good condition. Additionally, the Bosun will assist with navigation and watchkeeping duties as required.

What we look for
- Relevant STCW/CoC certificate as Bosun or Able Seaman
- At least 2 years of experience as Bosun or similar role on bulk carriers

- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and leadership skills
