Role overview
The Bosun is a key member of the deck crew on our Bulk carrier vessel, responsible for maintaining the ship's hull, superstructure, and equipment. The role involves ensuring the vessel is seaworthy and complying with safety regulations. This is a hands-on position that requires a strong understanding of maritime operations.
The Bosun's day-to-day duties include supervising deck maintenance, performing repairs, and overseeing cargo operations. The Bosun is also responsible for managing the deck store, ordering supplies, and maintaining inventory. Additionally, the Bosun will assist with navigation and watchkeeping as required.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid STCW/CoC certificate as a Bosun or Able Seaman.
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Bosun or similar role on a commercial vessel.
- Must have a strong understanding of maritime safety regulations and procedures.
- Must be physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have excellent communication and leadership skills.
