Role overview
The Chief Engineer is a senior officer responsible for the overall maintenance and operation of the engine department on a Crewell AHT vessel. This role requires strong technical knowledge and leadership skills to manage a team of engineers. The Chief Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the vessel's engines and associated systems are functioning efficiently and safely.
The Chief Engineer's day-to-day duties will include supervising engine room operations, performing routine maintenance and repairs, and troubleshooting technical issues. The Chief Engineer will also be responsible for managing fuel consumption, monitoring engine performance, and implementing safety procedures. Additionally, the Chief Engineer will conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential problems before they become major issues.

What we look for
- Must hold a valid Chief Engineer's STCW certificate of competency.
