Daily duties include supervising watch‑keeping engineers, planning and executing maintenance schedules, and monitoring fuel consumption and emissions. The role requires troubleshooting mechanical failures, approving spare parts usage, and maintaining accurate technical records. Coordination with the deck department for cargo handling and ballast operations is also required.

Requirements
- OK- Chief Engineer Certificate of Competency (STCW) valid for tankers of 10,000 GT and above
- OK- Minimum 5 years experience as Chief Engineer on crude oil or product tankers
- OK- Proficiency with IMO 2020 fuel compliance and emission control systems
- OK- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a multicultural engine team
- OK- Good command of English, both written and spoken
