The Chief Engineer is a senior management position on a Crude oil tanker responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of the vessel's engine department. The Chief Engineer's day-to-day duties include overseeing the maintenance and repair of engines, pumps, and other equipment, as well as managing the engine department's budget and resources. The Chief Engineer will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations, such as those related to oil spills and waste management. Additionally, the Chief Engineer will supervise and train junior engineers and other crew members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties safely and effectively.

Requirements
- OKMust hold a valid Chief Engineer's STCW certificate of competency
- OKMust have at least 2 years of experience as a Chief Engineer on a tanker vessel
- OKMust have a strong knowledge of engine maintenance and repair procedures
- OKMust have excellent leadership and communication skills
- OKMust be able to work independently and as part of a team
