The Chief Engineer is a key member of the engine department on our diving support vessel, responsible for the overall maintenance and operation of the vessel's engines and machinery.
This role requires a high level of technical expertise and leadership skills to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel.
The Chief Engineer will work closely with the captain and other crew members to achieve this goal.
The Chief Engineer's day-to-day duties will include overseeing routine maintenance and repairs, managing fuel and lubricant supplies, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
The Chief Engineer will also be responsible for training and supervising junior engineering staff and managing the engine department's budget.
Additionally, the Chief Engineer will be required to respond to emergencies and make repairs as needed to minimize downtime and ensure the continued operation of the vessel.

- Must hold a valid Chief Engineer's STCW certificate of competency.
