We are seeking a skilled Chief Engineer to join our team on a General Cargo Vessel. The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the overall maintenance and operation of the vessel's engine department. This is a key role that requires strong technical knowledge and leadership skills.
The Chief Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the engine department, including monitoring and maintaining engine performance, supervising junior engineers, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Chief Engineer will also be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing engine problems, as well as managing spare parts and supplies. Additionally, the Chief Engineer will be required to keep accurate records of engine performance and maintenance activities.

- OKMust hold a valid Chief Engineer's STCW/CoC certificate.
- OKMust have at least 2 years of experience as a Chief Engineer on a similar type of vessel.
- OKMust have a strong knowledge of engine maintenance and repair.
- OKMust be able to work independently and make sound technical decisions.
- OKMust be proficient in English and have good communication skills.
